Ticket Search & Status

Search and Status is an easy-to-use tool that helps users display processed tickets by either entering the ticket number, using ticket search criteria or using the map to outline the search area.

Select the Search & Status service area below to find a ticket. In addition to searching within the Delmarva Peninsula, you can also find tickets for excavation sites in the Western Shore of Maryland and in Washington, D.C.

Select the Search and Status service area below.

Search & Status tips:

Search by ticket number, date range, user details and/or excavation location information, or by using the map.

Once you have retrieved the ticket, see its status by scrolling down to the “members notified” section. A full list of time-stamped statuses from utilities are available when “status history” is clicked.

In the “members notified” section, Discrepancy and Dispute notices can be processed on a ticket.

Delmarva 811 is a free service for professional excavators and homeowners in Delaware and Maryland (ESMD).

Delmarva 811 is the name commonly used to refer to Utilities Service Protection Center of Delmarva. Delaware code (Title 26, Chapter 8) established USPCD as the approved notification center for Delaware. USPCD is also certified by the Maryland Public Service Commission to be the “one call” system for the portion of Maryland on the Delmarva Peninsula, commonly referred to as the Eastern Shore.

Anyone engaged in excavation activities is required to notify underground facility owners prior to the start of any excavation. Delmarva 811 streamlines this process by providing a service that allows excavators to notify area utility companies quickly and efficiently, either online or by calling 8-1-1. This system also allows utility companies to locate and mark the utilities in the area of excavation, then directly provide a positive response back to the excavator so they can begin their work.

Delmarva 811 is a free service and is entirely funded by its member facility owners.

Delmarva 811 hosts monthly meetings to open communication among excavators and facility owners, fostering a sense of shared responsibility for the protection of underground facilities and public safety.

Public education is essential, and Delmarva 811 provides education materials and fosters awareness through company safety meetings, training conferences, fairs, home shows, company functions and public awareness campaigns.
